souten
Stockpile your thoughts. Fire them later.
You’re in a meeting. A class. A book. Your brain keeps firing off “I want to look this up later” thoughts. Searching now derails you. Suppressing them rarely works.
souten gives you a third option: load now, fire later.
The name souten (装填) is Japanese for “loading ammunition” — exactly what this app is.
- No UI clutter
- No ads
- No login
- No server
- Volatile — close the tab, everything is gone
How it works
- Load — Type a query, hit Enter. Stack as many as you want.
- Pick targets — Google is on by default. Optionally enable Perplexity, GitHub, Stack Overflow, YouTube, arXiv, Wikipedia, and more (19 total).
- Fire — One click opens every query × target combination as new tabs. The buffer clears itself.
Philosophy
This isn’t a todo list. It’s a curiosity buffer that drains itself on a single trigger. The point is that nothing persists — your queries, your target selection, your history. Close the tab and souten forgets everything.
That’s the feature.
